Maternity clothes

I hate them!! I totally should not be in them anymore. Why did I do this to myself again? I was doing good watching my weight gain in the beginning of my pregnancy but toward the end it got out of hand!

After Ryan I was eating so much better and actually got to the point where I wanted to run (that is huge for me!) This time around I can't get out of this funk. It's a struggle to eat good (which I'm not), and to work out (which I haven't done much of). This all leads me to this... we are taking a trip at the end of this month and I REFUSE to still be in maternity cloths! I have much shopping to do for myself. Not, Noah, or Ryan, or Tim, but me! So here I go again. Back to learning how to enjoy running and back to the sore body that comes with lifting. I have 24 days to do it in... wish me luck!!

My little Man: The Conclusion

VICTORY! I walked into Ryan's room at 2:15pm and this is what I saw...

Finally he is asleep. It took 3 hours and 15 min. but he fell asleep. It seems that the room took a hit though.

The problem: I had a play group to go to at 3pm. Only 2of us RSVP'd yes but there were others that RYVP'd maybe. I have been in the house all day and was looking forward to getting out of the house. At 3pm I checked on Ryan and he opened his eyes but shut them rather fast...he was pretty much still asleep. That's when it happened...I made the decision to wake him up and go to the park. I got him up changed his diaper and he slept through it. Then we walked down stairs and I put him down, that it when all hell broke loose. I woke the beast! He was crazy on me, crying, throwing things, throwing himself on the floor. My first thought "ABORT MISSION". I took him upstairs gave him a pacifier and put him back to bed, well, tried to put him back in bed. He was now going crazy in the bed. What did I do? All he wanted now was to be held. Well, if he was going to be awake he was going to do it at the park. (notice nowhere in this day have we had lunch).

We get to the park at about 3:30pm and no one is there. Just me Ryan and Noah. Nice. We end up hanging out for about 1/2 hour ate granola bars and capri-suns (lunch)and came home. All in all the day was great up until I woke up the 1 year old. You think I would know better by now. I guess we'll see how day 2 goes.

My little man : The Update

Waking up this morning was great. I check on him at about 8:40am and he was on the floor quietly playing with his toys. VICTORY!

Well, victory lasted until about an hour and a half ago. I tried putting Ryan down for a nap at 11am. Checked on him at 11:30am and he was sitting in the corner of his room reading to himself. I got him back in bed and left. I wont bore you with the details but this has been going on non stop since I tried putting him down. He is not upset and is just playing quietly, and when I walk in he goes to the bed without protest (probably because he knows I will be leaving). I think my new plan of action is to him just hang out in his room. At some point he is going to have to crash right? right? Geez, I hope so!

My little Man

Tim and I have discussed this for months and we finally did it...Ryan slept in a toddler bed for the first time tonight. Well, it is his crib that converts to a toddler bed. We thought it's about time. Ryan actually liked it. When Tim took the crib railings down he just wanted to sit on his bed and hang out.

So, we got him ready put him in bed and left. About 10 min later I hear a big thump come from his room. The first thing I thought was great he fell out of bed. As I went into his bedroom and he wasn't on the bed. I also didn't hear crying so my next thought was he is knocked out on the floor. Well imagine my panic when he wasn't there either (not sure why I freaked out, there really was no where for him to go!) All of a sudden I see this face peaking at me. Ryan has made his way into the closet and was opening and shutting the door. Tim and I just laughed..we didn't expect him to stay there the first night.

About 5 min after I found him in the closet he had made his way back to bed and was fast asleep. Now I just hope the morning goes as well. Maybe instead of yelling for us to get him he will just start playing with his toys. Hey, a girl can hope. Here are some picture of the big boy and his big boy bed...
