becoming a runner

I HATE running!! With that said I am training to be a runner. I have searched to find the best plan of attack. I started yesterday with a walk/run. This is going to be very difficult. Someone told me that they could get me running 10 miles in 3 months. I laughed at that person (sorry Harry!) Then I started to think, why can't I do it. I used to be the person to work hard to achieve my goals but for some reason running has always been something unattainable. I keep telling Tim I was not made to run. I love swimming but it's not as convenient.

So here I go. Off and running... wish me luck!

Neti Pot

What is a neti pot you ask? Well, it is basically a a device for nasal cleaning. Now I don't have sinus problems but I know people who do so I thought I would help out. If you watch Oprah then you have seen this. I love Dr.Oz! Anyhow, the picture tells you all you need to know. So everyone get your neti! :)

this and that

Wow its been a really busy week around here (sort of). First, last Sunday we went to the drop zone for our "leaps of faith" series. My buds Kylie and Angi went and jumped out of a plane. Yeah!!! I'm so proud of you guys. Then we all got together and celebrated over chicken and steak, and a yummy trifle if I may say so myself.

Next, Ryan started crawling on all fours! He is my big big boy. Love that guy so much. Tim and I were saying that now that he is crawling he just seems so much bigger! We decided to redecorate the living room and then put up the baby gate. We are officially caged in. I wish I could get my video camera to work...Bobby, HELP!! Ryan is now up to 4 teeth. I just know the others are coming in soon!

Tonight is the finale of American Idol and I thought I would put in my two cents. I love Jordan. Blake is good and I think his shows would be entertaining but his vocals don't compare to Jordan. So I guess we'll see what happens. I am also bummed that 24 is coming to an end. I still haven't watched the season finale. So shhhhh, don't tell me what Jack did this time. So what am I filling the void of all the shows that are leaving?... my new obsession...One Tree Hill. I am so 15. I love this soap and on Soap Net they are running the episodes from the beginning. I have been watching it but started in the third season, they are currently on the 4th season. There was so much I missed. I really love this show. Ryan and I now watch it everyday at 5pm (I'm watching it as I write this). I just noticed it's 6:05 and I have praise band rehearsal at 6:30 so I have to so. Talk to you later.

Admiral Kidd Club

I went to a wedding on Saturday at the Admiral Kidd Club. I haven't been there since our wedding day and I have never attended a wedding there. I was looking forward to this wedding just so I could go back. Can I just tell you how beautiful the view of downtown is from this place. I loved my wedding. There are so many vendors I would have changed but the night was just magical to me. If you saw my husbands blog you noticed we just had our 4 year anniversary on May 2nd. WOW! I have loved every minute of this marriage. I even embrace our challenges as it brings us closer together.



These past four years have gone by so fast! I remember our wedding as if it were yesterday. I love you Tim! You are my answer to prayer.

Mothers Day

I took a picture of my mothers day just to post here but I am to tired to put it on the computer. Ryan is sick. I mean keep you up all night sick. It started on Thursday with a fever. After his fever broke Thursday night the cold came Friday. This whole past week Ryan has had a hard time sleeping but once we hit Sunday forget about it. The poor guy has a cough, runny nose, and sneezes like crazy. My poor little guy.

Mom and Aunt Linda came over Sunday night and ended up keeping me company while Tim when all over town looking for a humidifier. Finally at around 10:30pm Ryan fell asleep. Then woke up at 2am and 3am, again at 5am and just when I got him down and went to my bed at 5:28am my alarm went off at 5:30am. It was time to start the new day.

Tim asked me what better thing is there to do on mothers day then mother. I told him absolutely nothing would be better. Now, I need a nap!

I took Ryan to the Picture People to get his pictures done last week and here they are. 7 1/2 months. I'm not sure where the time has gone! Oh yeah, sorry Rachel. I stole some poses from you (and the outfit!)
