Water fun

Well at this rare moment I have both kids asleep. This has been a fun but challenging week. We have spent a lot of time playing in the water (Ryan has come along way in the water since you saw him Rachel). Ryan seems to be a little cranky this week and I think part of it is Noah being around. We are working it out though!

Noah has been going through some weight issues. As most of you know Noah has not been breastfeeding well. We ended up taking him to the doctor and he has only gained about 1 pound since birth. Since he is 6 weeks old this is not great but at least he is not losing. We now have come to a nice combination of bottle and breast feeding.

This week we took Ryan to our HOA pool and let him play with his friends in the play structure.

Here is Ryan and Tyler in their summer attire

Then on Sunday we went to the local mall and let Ryan play in the water there

And Ryan after eating his cookie

Well that is all for now. We are off to Sea World this evening, I'm sure more pictures to come.

Catch up

So I guess something get Tim on fire and now he can't stop blogging. For me on the other hand I don't seem to have the time. If I have some down time I choose to sleep. I'm not sure where to begin...

We went to the fair on Wednesday but if you want to know how that went you can read the blog Tim wrote. We had a good time. here is a picture and me and Noah since we got left out of husbands blog. I understand that it's not a great picture of Noah but trust me, he is in the wrap (my new Moby, thanks Linda)

All this money on the stroller and here is what it looked like

EMPTY!

Well, that's it for now. I have some fun pictures of Ryan in the water this weekend but still need to get them on the computer.

update

So it's been a while. I have been trying to recover from the postpartum healing from hell! For some reason my body hates having babies. My latest saga is the infection from breastfeeding. Oh my gosh you think childbirth was painful. My doctor has to be tired of hearing from me by now. My mom took Ryan today so I could get some rest. I really don't think I could have handled him today. The infection brings on flu like symptoms. This morning I woke up with a fever and the chills and just plain achy all over. Not to mention it's hard to sleep with how tender my chest is. Oh Lord, when will this all end. I am taking an antibiotic for it now so hopefully it goes away fast.

Noah is doing great. Unfortunately I have been feeling so crummy I feel like I don't get to enjoy him like I want to. Ryan is also doing good. He gives Noah mostly kisses with the occasional hit (were working on it). Again, I wish I was feeling better so I could enjoy him more also.

Everyone at church has been awesome to us. We have been receiving food about 3 times a week since we got home from the hospital and it's STILL coming. I need to find out how to never have it end! This week I think they finish up and next week family is coming to bring food. They have been waiting patiently to bring their blessings.

Well, just though I would do an update since I have been MIA. I am looking forward to the next few weeks as we have family coming into town. I also hope to see Rachel when she is down here. As I was looking at pictures of Caleb he has gotten so big. I miss that boy and look forward to him and Ryan getting a chance to hang out.
