Finally we decided it was time to bring Christmas into the house. We bought a tree, got it trimmed with lights, garland, and ornaments. Then I went on to the task of putting the household decorations up. Well, I found the stockings. As most of you know I bought Ryan a stocking last year. As most of you also know I bought baby...Nathan a socking last year. Yes you read this right, Nathan. Noah came really close to being a Nathan. Looking back I have no clue why I didn't just buy the stocking and once baby was born and named then get the stocking embroidered.
Now the bigger problem. When I was looking on the Pottery Barn site they no longer have the stocking that I bought Ryan. I love the stocking that says Nathan. It is cute, it matched Ryan's stocking... what can I do? Is it possible to get the name on the stocking changed without ruining the stocking? I guess at this point I have nothing to lose! Help, Anyone? Ideas?

Midnight cleaning
Oh, why did I answer the phone to the Realtor? Now I have to clean the house instead of wasting time on the computer and sleeping! You don't even want to see the mess that is my house! (sigh)
Please pray this house sells, and FAST!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

If I were to ask you what Mickey Mouse characters you could name you would probably come up with, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, Goofy, right? Because that is who most people remember. The cute, NICE, fun, characters. Nope. not my kid. All I hear everyday is Pete. Mommy, Pete. PETE?! In case you are not familiar with Pete, he is a big bully. If you would have to label a "villain" in this Disney show he would be it! This is the person my child gravitates too.
Just in case you don't know who Pete is...

Looks innocent huh?
Today, Ryan pushed Noah on to the ground...I blame Mickey. At first, I thought it was my parenting. I should have know it was that Mickey Mouse. I guess Ryan will just be watching Little Einsteins and Handy Manny during his morning oatmeal.

Winter to do list
I am so very excited for Christmas. I love this time of year! We have not even taken down the Christmas decoration yet. We need to get a move on!
My winter check list is as follows:
-Trip to Sea World
-Trip to Wild Animal Park
-Get our Christmas tree
-Need to get family Christmas picture done
-Visit with Santa
-look at Christmas lights
-bake Christmas cookies (but don't eat them!)
We'll see what actually gets done. We were supposed to do to December nights at the Prado but we got lazy...we are not off to a great start! I really want to go to Disneyland but we have that trip planned in March. Does anyone else have Christmas goals? I would love more ideas!
And just for the fun of it here is a stinking cute picture of Ryan in the toy box reading

The TV
When will it end! After our TV went out we bought a new one for the house. I get home from work today and Tim had gone to Cox and picked up a new box so we can have HDTV. I was already sick enough having this new overpriced tv in the house but now we are buying HD? Tim is trying to tell me how to use the remote which I don't think he has figured out yet! There are now 3 remotes needed to use my television. What? I just want my normal showes I TiVo everyday. Nope, not anymore, you can't watch TiVo through the new HD hookup, this would require a new remote to be used.
What can make this process a lot easier? You guessed it an HD DVR. Are you kidding? Right now we watch all our shows from TiVo. We never watch live tv. Well, our Tivo does not record HD...Then what's the point?! If we buy a HD DVR we can do everything with one remote and can watched everything we record in HD. I personally don't care about the difference. Oh well! I guess we'll see if we get a new DVR!
