Camping

On Friday night we went camping - sort of. Every year the city hosts a campout. We packed up the camping supplies and pitched our tent in the soccer field. The evening started with setting up the tent and then onto the inflatable slide.

The kids had a great time going up and down the slide. After the slide we went into the gym where the kids rode the wiggle riders and then we played some family basketball. Unfortunately, I am the worse player in the family. Even Noah came closer to the basket, it was embarrassing.

Next, time for some dinner, hot dogs all around. We sat around the tent eating and enjoying our family time. We got ready for the night time cold and off to the flashlight scavenger hunt, then the outdoor movie (Up), while eating some yummy s'mores.

I woke up bright and early in the morning to catch my boys sleeping peacefully in their sleeping bags with chocolate and marshmallow resting on their face.

Bliss. I love my life.
